Who is Captain Ron?
Captain Ron has been boating his whole life. While growing up he spent his summers on Leech Lake, the third largest lake in Minnesota. Later, when working in Muskegan, MI, he boated the 15 mile commute every day to and from work and spent his free time and weekends exploring the east side of Lake Michigan by boat. Other noteworthy boating travels Captain Ron has made include a 600 mile excursion on the Mississippi River stopping every night and exploring along the way.
Captain Ron shared his love of boating with his family and raised his five kids enjoying summer weekends on a live-aboard cruiser on Lake of the Ozarks. His love of exploration is very apparent when cruising and sightseeing, and he particularly likes the ambiance of Lake of the Ozarks because of the varied entertainment and unique restaurants available and their close proximity.
